Hats & Mittens is in its 26th year of raising money and awareness for organizations serving children and youth in our community. Over the past twenty-five years, Hats & Mittens has not only supported other non-profits serving children in the community but has continually increased the number of warm hats and mittens donated to children and youth in our community.
Our event will take place virtually Thursday, December 2 at 7:00pm here and include a brief program, testimonials from hat and mitten collectors, recipients, and volunteers, silent auction, and a fund-the-need! The event will be free to all who are able to participate. Register now!
All funds raised at our virtual fundraiser on December 2 will be used to purchase hats and mittens for children and youth in the seven-county metro area of the Twin Cities. Our goal is to raise funds to purchase 25,000 hat and mitten sets to fill the order requests we typically fill in a winter season. We know the need will be even greater this year because of financial pressures on families and we know that many of our collecting partners (schools, offices, churches) may or may not be back to “normal” quite yet.
Over 50 auction items will be available to bid on Friday, November 26th starting at noon! Register now to bid!
